Sam’s Club Holiday Gift Cards

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Starting production as early as February, holiday gift cards are often a chance to play, experiment, and let one’s Christmas spirit run wild.

This annual project challenges our team to create eye-catching gift card designs for the upcoming holiday season. Using data for gift cards sold the previous year, we often try to focus our designs on imagery and themes that appeal to specific demographics of Sam’s Club customers. For my designs, I’ve often placed an emphasis on illustration and typography while focusing on themes ranging from pastels and the Nutcracker to buffalo plaid and the great outdoors.
